Kitchen Museum

In 2011, Şanlıurfa Municipality purchased the historical Hacıbanlar House, which was about to fall into disrepair, and restored the historical house and turned it into a "Traditional Cuisine Museum". The Kitchen Museum exhibits old kitchen equipment of Şanlıurfa, which has evolved from the past to the present. The objects, which are important examples of Urfa culinary culture, are brought to life with the help of mannequins dressed in clothes specific to Urfa. Traditional Cuisine Museum; It is one of the indispensable examples of Historical Urfa Houses with 5 rooms, 2 water wells and a large courtyard. Şanlıurfa Kitchen Museum also provides courses on local dishes for housewives who are knowledgeable about Urfa cuisine.
