ARMELIK CARAVANSARAYI
RURAL LIFE AND AGRICULTURE MUSEUM FARMER EDUCATION CENTER

It is not known who built the Armelik Caravanserai located in Büyükhan Village of Bozova district. However, it can be said that the caravanserai was built during the Ottoman Period by looking at its plan and construction style. Evliya Çelebi writes in his travel book that he set out from Suruç and traveled 2 hours westward before arriving at this caravanserai, and that it was named after four (three) rulers (meliks). The caravanserai, which was restored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was opened to tourism by Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality in 2019 as the Rural Life Agriculture Museum and Farmer Education Center.
