Ingredients 
Licorice root 
Water

Preparation
After the collected licorice is cleaned and dried, it is crushed with a pestle and turned into fibers and left in a container with water. With a process repeated several times, the licorice root is filtered and its water is taken. a clean sack is placed on it and new water is poured over it, it is kept for three to four hours and the resulting licorice extract is poured into glasses with water and drunk with ice.

*Biyan is the name given to the licorice plant in Urfa.
