Date Halva

Ingredients (Serves 6)
1 kg dates
½ kg unsalted Urfa cheese
½ cups plain butter
Preparation
Pour hot water over the dates and let them sit for thirty minutes, then cut them in half and remove the seeds. Put the dates in a large pan and heat the oil, then turn them a few times. After pouring previously sliced and dehydrated cheese on top, the dates and cheese are mixed together, the pan is closed and served hot after resting.
